Fellow Traveler,
As I reflect on 2025, I’m filled with gratitude for a year of transformative journeys each one a lesson in how travel connects us more deeply to ourselves and the world. From wellness in the desert to African safaris, Nordic skies, and European holiday charm, every experience refined how I create meaningful, elevated travel for my clients.
Here’s a look back at the moments and places that inspired the year ahead.
🌵 A Desert Wellness Reset — Arizona
The year began beneath the vast Tucson sky at Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa
For four rejuvenating nights, I disconnected from my phone and reconnected with myself through meditation hikes, equine therapy, sound baths, and restorative spa rituals. The days were slow, nourishing, and beautifully simple a reminder of how purposeful travel can restore balance.
🌸 Easter Weekend in British Columbia
April brought a gentle interlude on Canada’s west coast. I spent Easter at the historic Fairmont Empress in Victoria, BC.
Heritage architecture, afternoon tea, and ocean views made it a weekend of quiet beauty and refined hospitality.
☀️ Midnight Sun and Nordic Calm Scandinavia
Next, I embraced summer’s magic across Norway and Denmark. Road-tripping through fjords, picturesque towns, and serene lakes brought quiet joy, while Tromsø’s midnight sun was an unforgettable spectacle plus an exhilarating deep-sea fishing day in Arctic waters.
We experienced real home-style hospitality at Balstad Pensjonat.
I ended the journey in elegant Copenhagen, savoring design, warmth, and hygge evenings at Villa Copenhagen.
🌍 Heritage and Heart — Africa
Later in the year, I returned to what matters most reconnecting with family and culture across Nigeria and Rwanda.
In Kigali, I split my time between city moments at Kigali Marriott Hotel and safari days in Akagera National Park, before returning to New York in Qatar Qsuite an experience that perfectly blends privacy, comfort, and thoughtful design.
🍁 Autumn Glow — New England
By fall, I was ready for layers and color. I followed the Kancamagus Highway from Boston through North Conway and on to Stowe, staying at The Lodge at Spruce Peak for a front-row seat to Vermont’s foliage.
Cozy drives through the Berkshires and theater nights in New York City—Hadestown and Hamilton—brought together scenery, culture, and comfort.
🏙️ Inspired by Minneapolis
I made a brief stop in Minneapolis for client meetings and creative gatherings. I experienced two distinct expressions of the city’s hospitality: Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis , a sleek urban retreat near the Mississippi River, and Hotel Ivy, a Luxury Collection Hotel, a boutique landmark with a full-service spa and easy access to the city’s cultural highlights.
All roads eventually led to a family get together celebration at SLS Playa Mujeres a chic, vibrant beachfront escape.
🎄 Festive Elegance — Eastern Europe
To close out 2025, I journeyed through Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Prague, Dresden, and Mainz, visiting some of Europe’s most atmospheric Christmas markets.
In Budapest, I stayed at Párisi Udvar Hotel Budapest a jewel-box of Art Nouveau architecture in the city center.
Vienna’s stay at Park Hyatt Vienna combined historic grandeur with contemporary luxury, while Andaz Prague offered modern design rooted in local stories within walking distance to the christmas markets.
Gewandhaus Dresden, Autograph Collection wrapped the Dresden chapter in boutique charm.
A final night in Mainz at Brunfels Hotel before flying home in Lufthansa First Class made for a graceful end to a festive season.
Looking Ahead
Each destination this year deepened my understanding of travel how luxury shines brightest when it’s personal, intentional, and soulfully curated. As we approach 2026, I look forward to crafting experiences that inspire, restore, and transform.
If you’re dreaming of your next great journey, I’d be honored to design it with you.
Warmly,
Gabriel
