Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis Review: My Favorite Stay in the City

Erons Travel Advisory

My rating: 4.5/5
Hotel website: Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis

Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis is the best hotel I’ve personally stayed at in the city. The comfortable room, river views, and excellent dinner at Mara made it a memorable visit.

I’m Gabriel, a Fargo-based travel advisor and founder of Erons Travel. For clients planning a special occasion or an upscale Minneapolis stay, this is one of the first properties I consider.

Downtown convenience and elevated views

The hotel is at 245 Hennepin Avenue, near the northern end of Nicollet Mall. The high-floor rooms are a major part of the appeal, with views of the skyline or Mississippi River.

If you’re driving from Fargo, factor parking into your budget.

During my stay, hotel parking was $65 plus tax. Nearby ramps may offer lower rates; compare current prices before arriving.

A strong welcome and a very comfortable room

The team gave us a warm welcome at check-in.

My room had river views, which I appreciated. The room was spacious and modern, with a well-designed bathroom, excellent bath products, and an exceptionally comfortable bed.

The river view would be my preference for another stay.

Mara was a highlight

Dinner at Mara was excellent, particularly the lamb chops and pasta. Breakfast was also very good, although the coffee didn’t reach the same standard for me.

Dining was one of the strongest parts of my experience and a reason I’d look forward to returning.

Pools, fitness, and time to unwind

I enjoyed the pool facilities, and the gym had a good selection of equipment. The hotel offers indoor and seasonal outdoor swimming options.

During my visit, sauna access required an advance booking. If that’s something you want to use, ask about the arrangements before your stay.

Who I’d recommend it for

I’d recommend the Four Seasons for anniversaries, special weekends, and business travelers who want a particularly comfortable downtown base.

The appeal is in how well it delivers the essentials: a restful room, attentive service, good food, and a view worth pausing for. My 4.5/5 rating reflects a very good stay and my favorite Minneapolis hotel experience so far.
